Lynda Carroll Bennett, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her home in Denham Springs, LA. Lynda was a member of Christ Community Church, Denham Springs. She enjoyed crafting, baking, sewing and catering. She also served her community as a leader for Girl Scout Troop #176 of Denham Springs.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Bennett (Phillip Parker) and Tara Wheat (Charlie); grandchildren, Abbygail Wheat, Mallory Wheat, Presley Wheat, Braxton Bennett, and Cameron Parker; brother, Oscar “Sonny” Carroll; sisters, June Burge, Sandra Green, Annelle Carroll, and her longtime best friend, whom she considered a sister, Susie King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Thelma Carroll; sisters, Joy Seals, Eloise Napier, Norma Stiglets, Mona Blackwell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Community Church or The Dementia Society of America.
