Bruce Earl Summers, 67, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at his home in Denham Springs, LA. Bruce worked as a mechanic with Deep South and was a member of Operating Engineers Locak #406.  He loved to be outdoors and working with his horses and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who missed him.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Wills Summers; children, Kody, Shanna, and Kameo Summers; grandchildren, Calen, Mia, and Maddox Summers; mother, Peggy Roe Summers; sister, Joyce Summers Taylor; and brothers, Danny Ray and Dale Clay Summers Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Clay Summers Sr.

Visitation will be held at Pentecostals of Watson Church, 34639 Hw 16, on Tuesday, May 21, from 4pm to 9p.m and will resume Wednesday, May 22, from 9am until service at 10am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Summers, Dale Summers Jr., Luke Pamplin, Davey Summers, Jacob Greau, and David Renniger.     So Sorry to hear this about Bro Bruce,Brother Bruce was A unique Friend and Brother in The Lord,He was A Perfect example of A Man after God’s Own Heart.Bruce will be missed by All who Knew Him.Prayers continue to go up for The Summers Family and Friends and loved ones,R.I.P.Brother until We meet again.

    My husband and I passed the former Deep South location a couple of days ago. We were thinking about the great work that Mr. Summers did with our vehicle and the fair, friendly treatment that we received as customers. We will always remember our experience there.     what a sad day,i got the news of bruce’s passing.man so heart breaking!! bruce was a one of a kind person,hard working,a good friend for over 30 years,
    and a man who loved family,and God.we worked at Nichols together for years,and remained friends up to his passing.i think everyone that knew
    bruce,liked him for who he was.i was one of those people.praying for his family,ive known them for a long time. thanks for all the years of our friendship,it will always be a great memory.rip buddy

    I worked with Bruce for many years at nichols we are and always will be like brothers Bruce and I shared a lot of time working after hours at his house in walker years ago I last seen Bruce right before I moved to Florida 11 years ago and he wanted me to draw him and his wife a floor plan for a house which I did that night until midnight Bruce was a very hard worker and helped most of the people in Livingston parish I miss you my brother and it’s so hard to realize that we have gotten older so fast. I know you’re in heaven with your dad love you always my brother
