Rosalie Firmin Louque (April 23,1948 – May 29, 2024) Rosalie peacefully passed away on May 29, 2024 at Grace Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Bryan Keith Wheeler, her parents Lesester “Lee” Firmin and Bessie Firmin, her Brother and sister in law Clifford and Kathy Firmin, as well as their son Ryan, and her cousin and best friend Betty “Bobbie” Deshotel. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter Paula (Bryan) Satterwhite, sister Delce (Stuart) Smith, brother Daniel (Jackie) Firmin, and brother Roland (Nina) Firmin. Rosalie, also known as Mamaw, was very proud of and loved her grandchildren Samantha (Justin) Creel, Courtney (Nick) Lemoine, Brooke (Chris) Poston, and Jordan (Phillip) Holloway. She adored her great grand children, Lainey and Anna Creel, Johannah, Elijah, Adeline, Gemma and Moriah Poston, Hadley and Bonnie Holloway, and Baby Lemoine (August 2024). She has always loved and treated her nieces and nephews and their children as her own. Melanie (Remmy) Forbes, John Deshotel Jr., Daniel Firmin Jr., Brad Firmin, Tracy (Corey) Mitchell, Roland (Carli) Firmin Jr., and Rosalyn (Brandon) Miller. She also loved and will be missed dearly by many others not mentioned here. Rosalie was respected for her wisdom, strength and independence. She cared for others even when she had nothing for herself. Our memory of her will forever be our love and strength. Our hearts are happy to know she is now with Jesus and her precious son Bryan. A memorial ceremony to be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude.

    My heart is so broken. My God grant you the strength to stay strong. I will always treasure our memories together. Our laughter, jokes, and just being together. I loved your Mom dearly. If you need anything Paula please let us know.
