Ronald Luke Littleton was born in Marksville, LA on May 23, 1945, to Jeanette Brouilette and Edwis Littleton. He passed on from earth on June 3, 2024.  He was the oldest brother to sisters Carol Gagnard, Cheryl Bryson, and Lana Lachney all of Marksville. He was the father of Rhonda Sibley (Don) of French Settlement and Crystal Fletcher (Jeff) of Walker. Ronald spent his years duck, squirrel, rabbit, and dove hunting when he wasn’t fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with the loves of his life, his granddaughters, Sophie Fletcher Gilmore (Caleb) and Camille Fletcher. For the past 18 months, he got to eat supper every Wednesday with his great-grandson, Sawyer Gilmore, whom he loved dearly.

In the final days of Ronald’s life, he prayed to accept Christ into his life, proving that it is never too late for the Lord to soften a heart. He will join his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon Marchesseault Littleton, in Heaven. The life they built together was honest and lasting. He is also preceded in death by: his grandparents, Emilé and Emily Brouielltte, and Lute and Alfred Littleton, stepfather, Eric Gaspard, nephews Rhett Littleton and David Gill Jr., along with many aunts and uncles. The loss of Ronald is painful and will never be forgotten, but the love he leaves behind is far stronger. Ronald’s family would like to thank Dr. William Russell, Dr. Jennifer Perone, and Nurse Holly at Ochsner Cancer Center, as well as the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice for their excellent care. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at Walker Baptist Cemetery on June 6, 2024 at 10am.

I am so saddened to have to say good-bye to my uncle. I knew him as a great sportsman, a loving father/grandfather, and devoted husband. He was an all around kind, honest person. I will always remember him with great fondness.
At this time my thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Ronald’s family. God bless each and every one.
