I just saw Harvey’s obituary on Seale Web sight. I don’t get the paper or hear must of the local news.
Harvey was a contributor to the Watson and Denham Springs communities. He will be missed by many but most of all by you. May God sustain you in your time of loss.
Pat and I were married 60 years ago today. She has been gone 10 years. I still miss her but l have many very beautiful memories. I pray that you will be able to smile soon as you recall those good times that you and Harvey shared.

So sorry for your loss, just found out. My first year of teaching was at Northside Elementary School in 1968. Harvey and his family have always had a “very special” spot in my heart. He gave support and was affective mentor to me. Enjoyed our phone visits over all these years, I always called on his birthday and/or sent a text. We can now seek comfort knowing Carey and Harvey are in Heaven in the presence of Lord. You all are in my prayers.

My deepest condolences to the Tate family. Mr. Harvey and I started at Northside Elementary the same year. He was a firm principal but a good man. He warmed the seat of my britches a few times, but it wasn’t like I didn’t deserve it. Many years would pass before I would happen to run into him and he always remembered me. He and my dad grew up together and he always had an amusing tail to share with me. I’m sorry I didn’t attend the service, but I only found out till the day after. He will surely be missed rest in peace Mr. Harvey.

Cissy and Family, I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Tate’s passing. He was such a sweet and caring Man. I loved having him as a Principal at Northside Elementary. He made me feel so welcomed there as I transferred in the middle of 4th grade. He will be dearly missed by many. My family will pray for your family for the loss of your loved one. Many prayers.

Sue, Jann, Carol, Cissy, Denise and John, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, he was always so nice to be every time I would see him and he would tell me how he and my mom was the best of friends and how they could whip anyone in Denham Springs and how much he loved my grandmother and she was like a second mom to him.
I am sorry but I will not be able to make the services, I will be out of town for a work conference but each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers
