Louis Scott Vincent, 41, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on October 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1981, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Louis, affectionately known as Scott, was a devoted husband, loving son, and cherished brother. He possessed an infectious laughter and had a penchant for sharing jokes, bringing joy to those around him. His warm and welcoming nature endeared him to many, and his love for LSU football was unwavering. While he enjoyed fishing and duck hunting with his late father, those activities held a special place in his heart.
Scott will be remembered for his intellectual prowess and his ability to engage in meaningful conversations. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever be treasured.
Left to honor his legacy are his beloved wife, Alicia Sibley Vincent, and their children, Devan Pleasant and Alexis, as well as Makenzie Wright and Israel. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Trudy Denham Vincent, and his sister, Rebecca Vincent and Troy Verret. Scott’s aunts, Milli Ballard and Betty Taylor, will also hold his memory close.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis Sterling Vincent Sr and Doris Vincent, as well as Charlie and Mildred Denham. He was also predeceased by his father, Louis Sterling Vincent Jr, and his brother, Louis Sterling Vincent III.
In pursuit of his educational aspirations, Louis completed his high school education at Denham Springs High School in 1999. He embarked on an academic journey that led him to SouthEast University, where he graduated with a degree in Biology in 2008. Driven by a thirst for
knowledge, he furthered his education by obtaining an MBA from LSU in 2020, while concurrently studying for his PMP degree.
Scott found solace and spiritual guidance at Northside Baptist Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Louis Scott Vincent during a funeral service to be held on October 8, 2023, visitation beginning at 1 pm and services beginning at 3 pm at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana, located at 1720 S. Range Ave. Denham Springs, LA 70726, Entombment to be at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery

Beautiful obituary, life and soul; both of my sons knew Scott. Damion and I ask Our God of Peace to pour out, on your family, His Strength in abundance. Dustin’s earthly life ended 6 yrs. ago; cling to heavenly faith until we see all our loved ones again!
