Dolly Erlene Longmire, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023. She was born January 14, 1930, in Trenton, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Loftus and was the last of 12 siblings. Dolly was married to Charles Henry Longmire who preceded her in death in 1983.
Dolly was a homemaker with a great sense of humor, a love for the kids, and a love for cooking good ole southern food. Whether it was fried chicken, or biscuits and gravy, Dolly was still cooking until a few years ago. She stayed in good health and was sharp as a tack till the end.
She is survived by her 4 children, Mike, Beth, Phillip, and Brad, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Paul Longmire.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Fidelis White Road for their attentive and loving care.
Please join us celebrating her life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Longmire, I knew for 69 years of my life. Had a lot of good time with Phillip and Brad,
I knew you thought about my and hated to see her leave. I remember the times y’all were at each other’s house drinking Coffee or Tea. I knew you missed her. Maybe y’all can brew another cup of coffee or tea an go back to where you left off:
I love Mrs Longmire.

David, this is Beth, Phillip has tried to find you for quite some time. Thank you for your sweet comment. Momma talked about the things her and your mom would often laugh about. In her last days she missed her friends on Webb Drive.
Phillip would love to hear from you. If you would like to talk with him and hash over the old days contact me on my Email below and give me a phone number and I’ll give you his. So happy you’re still around 🫠
