Robert “Michael” Luquette, Jr was called home on January 12, 2024, to be reunited with his mother. 

Michael was 17 years old and a native of Denham Springs, LA.   He was born June 16, 2006, to Robert Michael “Mike” Luquette, Sr and Ashli Dawn Kirkpatrick Luquette.   

Michael leaves behind his dad Mike, sister Paige, fiancé Caleb Zinn, niece Harper Dawn. Grandparents Mike and Cindy Luquette, Mike and Jan Rousseau, Kyle and Jenise Kirkpatrick.  Aunts and Uncles Chris (Kristen) Luquette, Courtney (Brittany) Luquette.  Kathryn (Juston) Bass, Nicholas (Tracey) Rousseau, Alyssa (Stephen) Gibson, Michael (Jenn) Rousseau, Austin Kirkpatrick.  Cousins George, Charlotte Luquette, Everette, Emerson Poole, Morgan, Ellie Mae, Mason, Hanna Bass, Malakai, Mikah Frawley. Great grandparents, many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.   

Michael had a love for fishing and hunting but had a change of heart when his mother passed away and turned to writing music for comfort.  He had a contagious smile and will be missed by all who knew him. 

Michael was proceeded in death by his mother Ashli Luquette and cousin MaKenli Bass. 

“Therefore, you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you” John 16:22 

Memorial services will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday January 26, 2024 Visitation will be from 10 AM -12 PM with memorial service starting at 12 PM.
