Mary Yvonne Gremillion Valenti, age 87, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Yvonne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and “G.G.”.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Gremillion (Sharlene) and Michael Gremillion (Kathleen) grandchildren; Denny Gremillion, Jr. (Marlena), Danielle Campanile (Troy), Melissa Goode (Chad) and Amanda Gremillion Byers, great-grandchildren; Justin, Jr., Colby, Emily, Corbin, Charli and Camille and children and grandchildren of Craig and Ricky Gremillion, her sister Judy Wells Engelhard and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Gremillion, parents; Willie and Ida Wells, sons; Craig Gremillion and his wife Mona, Ricky Gremillion, and sister Lela Mae Wells Stewart as well as her second husband Frank Valenti Sr.,
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Garden of Memory, Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
