Donald Lavigne, Jr., age 70, passed away on April 13, 2024. Don was born May 18, 1953 in Baton Rouge. Don was the oldest of four children. Don worked as a bricklayer as well as a quality control inspector in the chemical manufacturing industry until retirement. Don loved riding his Harley Davidson, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a fan of LSU sports and loved to travel. Don loved spending time with his family, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Don is survived by his wife of 19 years Raylene Gough Lavigne; sons, Joshua Lavigne (Shannon), Zachary Lavigne, Jaceden Wallick; grandchildren, Kaelyn Lavigne, Alexis Lavigne, Brandt Lavigne, Bentleigh Wallick, Eli Hoover; sister, Cheri Berthelot; brother Daryl Lavigne; sister-in-law, Kelli Lavigne, and hid beloved toy poodle Pipper who has traveled the world with him.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lavigne, Sr., Mary Jane Lavigne; sister, Carolyne Lavigne; brother-in-law, Lionel Berthelot; nephew, Jeremy Berthelot.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 1pm – 3pm with a memorial service to begin at 3pm at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. A celebration of life will be held at Don and Raylene’s house immediately following the memorial service.
