John Chester Nowak, born July 21, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland was a member of The Knights of Columbus, 13632, having served as Grand Knight and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was the son of Edward F. and Stella Nowak. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Nancy Nowak “Nan”, and daughters Chris Nowak, Karen Wild and husband Byron, Catherine Boren and husband John and grandchildren Tyler, Colson, Emily, Carly and Jon, and great grandchild Stella, and many friends and relatives. John loved spending weeks in Destin, Florida with his family. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral in Baton Rouge at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
