I shall be praying for all of your comfort. I have fond memories of the Wheelis family and I’m thankful for the way that Bro. Wheelis shaped my spiritual journey in my childhood and youth.

O how you loved me, you married me, pastored me, you counseled me, loved my kids and made me feel like I was your favorite every time you hugged me. You have gained your reward. I love you Virginia. ❤️

What conflicted emotions we have when someone we love leaves this life for the best life in heaven. I loved Bro. Wheelis (and the entire family), and am lifting you all up in prayer. So many wonderful memories (like counting with Shelly how many times he said “hippo-Mo-potamus” during a sermon). Love and hugs to all!

Dad, go rest high on that mountain you so much deserve. I know you are at peace and no longer in pain. The pain of losing you seems unbearable but knowing that you have crossed over to fields of gold and now in Gods hands will help. I am so honored to be your son. Thank you for the raising and education you gave to me. I will strive every day to be at least half of the man you were. I love you,Bub

Craig, I am so sorry to hear of Bro. Wheelis’ passing. If I’m not mistaken, he was my very first pastor. I always loved him and your family. I’ll be praying for you, Shelly and Sis. Wheelis
