Byron Buratt departed this life on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at the age of 65. He was a native of Galvez, LA and resident of Walker, LA. He was the owner of Buratt Interiors, Inc as a General Contractor. He had a love a music and played the bass guitar. A private celebration will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Patricia Allen Buratt; two daughters, Heather Buratt Braiwick (Bobby Braiwick) and Aimee Buratt Cook and son Blaine Buratt (Rachael Buratt) brother, Barry Buratt (Blanca), three sisters, Dianne Guedry, Darlene Wheat (John), Brenda Merideth and sister-in-law Sue Buratt; six grandchildren, Cole, Hailey and Hannah Buratt and Connor, Logan and Sophie Cook; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos “Gun” and Ruth Buratt; brothers, Carlos “Peto” and George Buratt; sister, Charlene Buratt; and brother-in-law, Bobby Guedry.
