Dustin Akins, a resident of Walker, passed away at his home on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 49. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral; Home, Denham Springs on Thursday, March 4, 2021 beginning at 12:00pm. Naval Honors will be rendered at 2:00pm. He is survived by his wife Susan, two sons Blake and Steven, two daughters Savannah and Alisha and 8 grandchildren Zoey, Zander, Candance, Kameron, Chance, Cecilia, Paityn, and Parker. He is also survived by his sister Becky, and brothers jimmy and Randy. He was preceded in death by his mother Marcia and two brothers. Dustin loved music, he loved jokes and laughter.     Susie , Blake Steven and Savannah I am truly sorry I just found out Saturday and y’all have been in my mind since I found out and I just wanted to tell you all my prayers and thoughts are with each of you and I am here if you need anything !!! Truly mean that !!!! I can’t imagine Susie and my heart does break for you !

    We Love You All… Susan, I am so sorrow for the loss of Dustin. You and Dustin were our closest and oldest friends. We were happy when Dustin & Thomas hit it off. We fed him his first Crawfish- We are here if you need anything.

    Hey lil brother, You were loved deeply, you were a frustratingly amazing young man, one that will be sorely missed by those you’ve left behind. Just look for the green an white house in the cul-de-sac. It will have many of the family members waiting your arrival.
