Peggy you probably don’t remember me but I worked with DJ at uniroyal in the flexzone unit. I hadn’t seen DJ in years but thought of him often. DJ Always had a great smile, great sense of humor and a uplifting spirit. I just found out yesterday about his passing and am greatly saddened. May gods grace be with you and your family!

My life was touched by Mr. DJ for many years. I met him at North Oaks and he mowed my yard for many years. He was a special man who loved his grandkids and Family so much. He loved to talk about his family and LSU. I will never forget his smiling face and words of wisdom. He always greeted me by saying “hello sunshine.” I am so glad to have met him and he was the sunshine. He will be missed for sure.

Rest in peace buddy. One of my most memorable memories were the times spent making the camp, in the middle of July or August, in the heat, in the middle of tall weeds. It was hot, but the time spent together was more important. Our prayers and thoughts to the family. Alvin and Emmaline Mallet.

DJ was a really good person. I had the opportunity to work with him in security at North Oaks Hospital. He was a wonderful person to work with, never had a mean word to say about anyone. He will be missed.
