Matt was an amazing man. He was so funny and loved with all his heart. I had the privilege of knowing him through my sister/cousin Asha. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Matt’s love and personality were too big for this world. There are no words to describe how much my husband, myself, and my two girls will miss one of our closest friends–our Uncle Matt. I never met him without an eye roll, and even though we bickered incessantly, it was all love between us. He was so proud and excited that we asked him to be Avery’s godfather, and what a shock it was to lose him on her fifth birthday. Our ugly sweater Christmas party and our pool parties will never be the same without you there because no one could ever belt Queen lyrics or dance with me like you could.

You are missed beyond words can say, Matt. We love you.
