Lance Christopher Hukins suddenly passed away at Oschner Medical Center on January 28,2022. He was 31 years old. He was born in Alexandria,La on March 22,1990.  Lance was known for his character. He was always able to make you mad and laugh all within a minute of speaking. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Pipe and Steel Industrial as a supervisor/welder. He loved working in his plant homes as he would call them. As he would say some days it was an adult daycare he ran. He loved his work and plant family.

He was an amazing husband, dad, son, grandson, brother and friend. He will be missed by everyone who were lucky enough to meet him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of six years,  Breanna Hukins; daughter Addilayne Claire Hukins; son Roman Cain Hukins all of Denham Springs, Louisiana;  parents, Shontel Arnouville (Bradley) Bordelon of Watson, Louisiana;  brother, Jacob Lane Bordelon of Watson, Louisiana;  grandparents,  Paul Jr. & Donna Arnouville of Bordelonville, Louisiana. As well as numerous friends who were like family to him.

He was preceded in death by his biological father Bruce Hukins, Jr. of Cottonport, Louisiana;  aunt, Holly Arnouville Franks of Cottonport, Louisiana;  great grandparents Paul Sr. & Audrey Arnouville of Hamburg, Louisiana;  great grandparents Vallery & Doris Desselle of Bordelonville, Louisiana.

UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION

A celebration of life will be held at Don Avenue Baptist Church in Denham Springs, La, Saturday, February 19 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with Military Honors to begin the celebration. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made at any capitol one bank to benefit lances family. The account is under his wife’s name only (Breanna Hukins). Account number: 361563

    I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss!! Was planning on coming to the funeral. But I’m running fever headache and a mild sore throat. Please send ((Big Hugs)) to all from daddy’s family!! Love y’all

    Lance definitely left a footprint on many hearts. He was a great person and will be missed by many. Our thoughts, prayers and hugs to all his family. SEE YOU LATER MY GREAT NEPHEW

    Shontel, Breanna, Brad and family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Lance was a great person, friend, father, husband and son. I know he will sorely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are will each of you.
