Joseph “Joey/Pops” Morris Hussey was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on July 23, 1961. He passed away on February 11, 2022, at age 60. He is survived by two sons, Jacob and James Hussey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Gip Mansur, Becky and Scooter Boyd, Liz and Clyde Evans, Sootie and Al Aucoin; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Jenny Hussey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Hussey; brothers, Thomas Hussey and Jerry Hussey; mother, Thelma Reynaud Hussey Blanchard; and father, Thomas M. Hussey. A celebration of Joey’s life will be at As One United in Christ Fellowship, 30915 Barnett Lane, Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

    This breaks my heart you only got to meet Tyler’s mini a couple times I no your not suffering anymore and that takes some pain off but I hate that your gone but we will see you again one day God Bless this family
