September 6, 1931 – May 12, 2022

Carl passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Baton Rouge at the age of 90. He was a retired associate pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in Baker. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. James Carson, Bro. Raymond Taylor and Bro.Daniel Martin . Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum, Denham Springs. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Bankston (Russell) and Pansy Payne (George); mother of his children, Shirley Watts; step-daughters, Lindy Swain and Jawonna Guilbeau (Ryan); step-son, Paco Swain (Debbie); grandchildren, Jason, Kerry and Perry Falcon, Lola Bankston (Robbie), Corie Martinez (Francisco), Brandi Kira, Rachel Dingler, Philip Payne and Corrin Daye (Jesse), Corie Hostetler, Landon Lejeune, Tricia Reece, Megan Nodine, Kelli Craven-Hoyt, Ramsey White, Joshua Guilbeau (Bambi) and Rachel Guilbeau; 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Elizabeth Delatte; parents, Dan and Ethel Elizabeth McMorris Delatte; daughters, Vickie Weimer-Fontenot and Carla Harris.     Sorry to hear you passed Uncle Carl i never got to meet you I just heard about you I’m Drakeford’s great grandson if anyone wants to know and Harold is my grandfather God Bless rest in peace may God comfort the rest of the family
