He loved spending time outdoors and was often seen riding around Livingston on his bicycle or golf cart and visiting with friends. Those who knew Glenn loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend P.W. and Lena Owens Sibley; brothers Pleasant Sibley and Howard “Red” Sibley; sister and brother-in-law Gloria and John Morel; and sister and brother-in-law Katherine and Doug Burhman.

Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church in Livingston on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Sibley Cemetery on Cane Market Road in Walker, LA. Pallbearers are grandsons Brandon, Chase, Devin, Bradley, Matthew, Dauton, Dakota, and Damian. Grandson Deakn and great-grandsons Logan, Joseph, and Philip will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Special thanks from his family to the caregivers at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice and Pinnacle Hospice in Baton Rouge for the care and compassion provided in his final days. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or by visiting act.alz.org.
