Glen Ray Bennett passed away in his home on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La and was a resident in Gonzales, La. Glen was a graduate of Belaire High School, class of 1980 and played the trumpet in the Bengal Band. Over the last 20 years he ran his own plumbing business and serviced Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, cooking, blues and jazz music, and spending time with his family and friends.


Glen is preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Pourciau, and his three brothers, Barry Remondet,  Louie Gene Bennett, Jr. and Ronald Bennett, Sr. Glen is survived by his children, Mandi Walsh (Patrick Walsh), Mason Bennett, and Daisy Bennett, his grandchildren Lily, Lucy, Sadie, Daniel, and Raelynn, brother Dwain Bennett (Wendy), Doug Bennett (Lauri) and sister, Lisa Deshotel (Kent).


Services will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs Louisiana on June 28th. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:45 followed by a burial service. Flowers can be sent to Seale Funeral Services, Denham Springs, La and words of comfort for the family can be left at www.sealefuneral.com
