My condolences to the family. I worked with Jay in Baton Rouge for several years and always respected his opinions and admired his ability to manage multiple operational issues at once while making sure he had the company, the employees and the customer in mind. Even after I left Baton Rouge, I occasionally called Jay to catch up and he always responded with a positive attitude and optimism. The world lost a good man today.

Jay was the go to guy at Entergy & ULCS. His experience and on the fly decisions were always what was needed to do a job right the first time. But it was his demeanor with people that made friends from strangers with Jay. He always listened and gave his ideas in a sensible & encouraging manner. I never knew of his sense of humor until working with him at ULCS. His wit was always dry, unique and always hilarious. He’ll be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers go out to him and his family. Rest easy, Jay.
