Jeanette “Sutie” Rita Guerin Price, (age 83) passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the home of her son in Denham Springs, Louisiana surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born on December 3, 1938. She was a resident and native of Livonia, Louisiana and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She was a wonderful cook whose delicious recipes will be passed down for generations. Her many passions included dancing, especially the jitter bug, painting, floral arrangements and taking care of her cats and dogs throughout the years. She was also an avid LSU fan and looked forward to football and baseball season. One of the many things everyone loved about her was her great sense of humor. She still had everyone laughing up until the very end. She is survived by her daughter Sabrina Duhon, her son Kirk Price and wife Tami. Her 3 grandchildren, Wesley Duhon (Nicole), Melanie Butler (John), and Savannah Young (Devin), 1 great grandchild Aiden Duhon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Wallace Price, her parents Isidore Guerin, Sr. and Nettie Labat Guerin, 2 brothers, Isidore Guerin Jr. & Ray Guerin, & 1 sister Juanita Guerin Chustz. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her personal sitter and special friend Karen “Fay” Jackson and the staff of St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge. Jeanette’s eternal resting place will be with her mother and father in the family mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial ceremony at Alfortish Memorials & Mausoleums Cemetery, 2110 False River Drive, New Roads, Louisiana 70760 on Saturday, December 17th 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
