January 1, 1983 ~ November 18, 2022

Crystal Daunn Pique’ passed away late Friday night at her home surrounded by her family on November 18, 2022.

Crystal was born January 1, 1983 in Baton Rouge to parents, Dora Ann Campbell and Gary Albert Pique’. She lived with her devoted sister, Brandi, and loving brother-in-law, Eric (Ree), in Denham Springs after her mom passed away in 2007. As a young girl, Crystal attended Pine Ridge School with other special needs students and worked at the Livingston Activity Center with her friends as an adult.

She regularly enjoyed attending and dancing at the Miss Amazing Pageant, the yearly Tebow Night To Shine proms, LPPS Stars proms and the monthly Sunshine Socials. Crystal had a heart of gold and her loving spirit and joy infected everyone she met. She was truly a blessing and an angel on earth. Crystal inspired others with her perseverance and strength by overcoming her own challenges and enduring every day with a smile on her face.

She taught others to be happy by taking joy in the simple things such as enjoying her favorite icees, listening to her favorite music, such as Michael Jackson, playing with her tablet (her “book”) or watching her favorite movies, like A Nightmare on Elm Street. Crystal gave the gift of perspective and insight that reminded us to be grateful for what we have by appreciating the moments we have every day. She gave unconditional love and was a rainbow with a special light that shone through for too short of a time before leaving us.

May we never forget this beautiful gift of a life that was Crystal and manage to find the strength and support to find our way in this world without her in it.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her dad, Gary Pique’, sisters, Judy (JuJu) Goutreaux and her husband Mike, Michelle (Shay) Martinsen and Susan (SuSu) Ratcliff, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Crystal is preceded in death by her loving and devoted mother, Dora Campbell Pique’.

Friends and loved ones will have an opportunity to honor and celebrate Crystal’s life at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 between the hours of 5pm-8pm. Funeral services will commence the following day.

    My sweet aunt Crystal,

You will be missed so much. And I love you. I wish I could have been there more to see you and hug you and give you big kisses on your forehead if you would let me LOL. I’m so sorry Eric and Brandy. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for y’all. She couldn’t have had a better place or a better couple who loved each other and loved her to spend the rest of her life with. Remember she is in heaven with Jesus and they are dancing on the streets of gold and we will be there soon to see her. This life is but a vapor, be still and know that he is the Lord and he is in control of everything. When you think of her try to smile,. It’s kind of hard not smile when you think of her she was such a sweet sweet soul.
