Girls, your Mom and Dad were a big part of our Bankston family. I’ll always cherish the times we spent camping and just spending time with them. But your Mom was extra special, she always had a kind, but honest word to say, and would sit for hours and just talk to me like I was someone special. I’m so thankful she was a part of my life, I will Love and miss her.

    We Love y’all, God Bless,
    Joey and Shirley

    Sharon, Kathy & Wanda,
Mrs. Nellie always had a ready smile & positive uplifting word any time I saw her. I remember ABC youth parties at the Bankston’s; Mrs.Nellie & Mr. Dave, so much fun. For the sake of funny stories told at memorials: Mrs.Nellie was my Sunday school teacher along about 7th or 8th grade, maybe 9th. She was delivering the lesson on purity one Sunday morning, I’ll never forget how she told us to keep a nickel with us for dates with boys. When we asked why, she said hold it tight between your knees! We all side-eyed each other then laughed hysterically. Mrs. Nellie will be very fondly remembered & greatly missed. Keep the Sunday school laughs going in your new heavenly home Mrs.Nellie! My prayers are with you sweet ladies & your families.
    Love,
    Cecile Holley Hughes
