She was born in Baywood, LA and passed away at Hospice Butterfly Wing in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a resident of Denham Springs.

She was a loving caring person who never met a stranger. She had the faith of a mustard seed and loved her lord Jesus very much.

She is survived by her sons Ronald and Lisa Vicknair of D.S., Jimmy and Felicee Vicknair of Crowley, her daughter Frances and Mark Smith of Denham Springs, a daughter-in-law Thelma Vicknair of Colyell, LA. She had 16 grandkids, 30 great-grandkids, 2 great-great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, James Vicknair, Sr., parents Edgar and Amy Jennings, six brothers, two sons, Vernon and Mark Vicknair, and granddaughter Natalie Vicknair and great grandchild JaCorin.

Visitation will be on Thursday 5-9 PM and Friday 10-1 with graveside services to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Services to be conducted by Pastor Kevin Malcomb.

Pallbearers are Mark Smith, Jason Lockhart, Chris Vicknair, Christopher Vicknair, Frank Vicknair, and Jeremy Vicknair. Honorary pallbearers are Charles McCarney Jr. and Floyd Feske. Please sign the online guestbook at www.sealefuneral.com .

    Mama, Your services was so beautiful just like you, I miss you and I miss my phone ringing and your voice saying Good Morning My Beautiful Baby Girl, Your at peace now mama no more pain and no more suffering, I will always love you and I am so happy God chose you to be my Mom.     Aunt Wilma , we will miss deeply , you just went home you have your wings and you and Parren together again , and you have reunited with family. God has you now and you are at peace. Love you very much .

    Mrs. Wilma was a wonderful person who would give anything she had to anyone in need. She loved people. She always had a smile on her face. Lifting her family in prayer during this time of grief. Lord comfort them. Fly high, Mrs. Wilma. Until we meet again.

    My sincere condolences to the family. She was one special lady, never met a stranger. She was loved by so many and will be missed terribly. Love you “mom”! Until we meet again, fly high on angel wimgs.

      Wilma and I were neighbors when we were children and a teenager. She was a wonderful person and was always happy. We have been in each other’s life forever and she was a wonderful friend. Rest in peace Wilma, we will all miss you.
