Upon learning of Bud’s passing, my heart paused as I reflected back to 1973 when Bud gave this young married LSU grad his first real job. During our three years together he taught me many skills not learned in college, but his greatest attribute was his respect and loyalty for everyone on our team. When a career opportunity arose, Bud gave me the encouragement to pursue it for myself and my growing family. As years pass we lose contact with former colleagues; however, following my recent retirement I had hoped to find Bud to express my appreciation for his influence on my life. Unfortunately, this will not happen; however, I want his family to know that Bud (although not big in stature) he was a giant of a man! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
