We will all lovingly remember Antoinette Mary Veraldi, born to Joseph Anthony Veraldi and Katherine Dorothea Hawryliw on March 27, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She passed away on August 14, 2023. She was a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Antoinette, affectionately known to her friends and family as “Toni”, resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania most of her life. She spent time as an initial member of Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh. She graduated from Pittsburgh University with degrees in Communications and Psychology. In 2002, she received a Master of Social Work degree from Duquesne University and was later the resident manager at Vintage Personal Care Home. Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Anthony Veraldi and Katherine Dorothea Hawryliw, as well as her brother, Robert Michael Veraldi. She is survived by her sisters, Judith Budd of Bluffton, South Carolina and Nancy Williams of Denham Springs, Louisiana. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Veraldi of Goodyear, Arizona as well as forty-four nieces and nephews. Her family would like to express their deep felt gratitude to all the friends that loved and cared for Toni. Her stature may have been small but her personality was larger than life. She brought joy and excitement to all of our lives, she will be greatly missed.
