Kathryn “Kat” Booth Bailey, age 65, of Greensburg, Louisiana, passed away on September 02, 2023. Kat was born on February 11, 1958, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kat was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Buddy Bailey, furbaby Jenny, mother Kathryn “Bobbie” Booth, father George F. Booth, Sr., and sister-In-law Glenda Battles Booth. She is survived by her two brothers, George F. Booth, Jr. and Olen Booth (Tina); two nephews, Matthew Booth and Preston Booth (Keely); two nieces, Samantha Booth Verneuil and Bradley Booth Rhodes (Wylie); two great-nieces, Kaydance Verneuil and Arley Rhodes; and forever friends Barbara White and Miranda Newcomb. Kat retired from Valero St. Charles Refinery as a long-time employee. Kat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid pool player and would play as often as she could. Kat also enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews play sports over the years and would regularly attend games to cheer them on. She is a lifelong fan of both Saints and LSU football and enjoyed watching the games with her friends and family.
She will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
