Very sad for the family, she was truly loved and cherished at Blue Cross. I knew her for over 30 years and this is tough news to absorb. Wishing the family all the best, she mentioned you often and her love for you.

I knew Karen through her time at BCBSLA during the pandemic. She was always kind and engaging, willing to help however she could. She was dedicated to her customers. Not long after I got to know Karen, it was evident that of most importance to her was her love and dedication to her husband and family. I know she will be missed by so many…

Bello Family. Karen was my account executive with Blue Cross for over 20 years. During all those years we talked almost daily about one account or another. She was trustworthy and a dear friend of mine. She will be missed greatly.

She brightened every room she every walked in with her beautiful smile and compassion for others. Although we were not lifelong friends she will always be a big part of my heart.

Karen was one of the first people I met outside my department when I started working at Blue Cross. She was a delightful coworker, and she always had a sweet and happy smile for me and was genuinely interested in how things were going both at work and in my personal life. She was a beautiful lady with the kindest heart. My love and condolences to all of Karen’s family, especially her husband and children. I feel sure her light will always shine on you all.

To Karen’s family: please know that Karen was a lovely person, both inside and out, and always took excellent care of her business with her clients, of which I was fortunate to be one. She ALWAYS had a beautiful smile on her face and was cheerful without exception. I am heartbroken by this news. She was a super bright light in this world whose flame was burned out too soon. You are in my prayers during this time of painful loss – Sandy O’Brien

My most memorable moment with when she asked me to sing, and I surprised her BREC with a song summertime. The tears of happiness when I dedicated that song to her. Will forever live with me.
