Myrtle Marjorie Booty, 78, a native of Douglas, GA and resident of Baker, LA, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. She was the owner of her own home cleaning service making sure others were able to enjoy their homes to the fullest. When she had the opportunity she enjoyed reading, gardening, and bowling. She was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is survived by her partner, Ray Krumholt; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Martin Wilmott; son, Robert Jones; Grandchildren, Hannah Booty, Rayna Booty, Tyler Phenald, Coty Jones, Rachel Jones, Kaeli Jones, Lacy Jones, and Heather Jones; sister, Lorene Boney; brother, Joel Sockwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Jones; parents, Leroy and Hattie Mae Cauley; and siblings, Lydia, Johnny, Jimmy, Jackie, Tom, Ray, David, and Geneva.
