I am so sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing. Gerald worked for my husband, Eduardo Jenkins and myself as a sub contractor for many years and was an excellent bricklayer. He was a hard worker and always had a wonderful attitude. We often talked when he was on a project and he always spoke so fondly of his wife Shirley. I never met his wife, but I felt like I knew her from how Gerald spoke of her. I know he loved her deeply as well as his entire family. I pray that he is no longer in pain and is finally at peace. God bless you Mrs. Shirley and the entire Sanders family. Another special man has left us, but we will see him again one day. Praying for all of you in this difficult time.

Uncle Gerald, one of the most honorable men I have know through and through. No matter what was presented to him in his life, he stood strong, and next to those he loved without hesitation. He was there for my Mom when she divorced our dad and helped her for so many years to get back on her feet as she navigated life with 3 little ones and no father to help with the support. He stood in as her brother and our uncle and loved us all unconditionally. There are so many memories of my life and my interactions with my Uncle that I will have to hold close to my heart. He was and is still loved by so many.
Be at peace Uncle Gerald and give Mom a hug for me. Love, Shery
